This painting was created as part of our local garden tour where our local artists created art influenced by our local gardens. The art was then displayed at our local gallery. 

This painting is acrylic and filled with bright, vibrant color.

This is one of my "water inspired" paintings. It stared out as a mixed media "pour" but quickly turned into a different subject since the pour did not materialize for me.

I also used 3 different techniques. One was the pour, followed by manipulating that paint. I was trying to create a more organic feel to the water. Then, came the brushwork and knife work for the rocks. This was particularly fun as I did not know what shapes would emerge.
